Meet Your Coach

I’m here to help because I’ve been where you are!

Jessica Shotwell Walker

is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach, and Dragon Boat Paddling Trainer based in Peachtree City, GA.

She discovered the Ketogenic Lifestyle 18+ years ago and has used it to recover from Obesity, Type 2 Diabetes, PCOS, and debilitating Plantar Fasciitis.  She loves to help her clients reap the benefits of changing their body’s fuel supply from sugar-based to body fat-based.  Jessica strongly maintains that optimal health can be easily achieved by buying and cooking real food found at the local grocery store and farmer’s markets.  Now in her 50s, she has maintained her 65 pound weight loss and is now the youthful, happy, and energetic amateur athlete she always wanted to be.

As an experienced Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach, Jessica uses a habit-based and client-centered coaching process to help her clients:
  • Practice new eating habits,
  • Troubleshoot their biggest challenges,
  • Stay consistent, motivated, and accountable,
  • Radically improve their nutrition, lifestyle, and health, and achieve a body that’s fun to live in again!

Jessica’s passion for the sport of paddling Dragon Boats has taken her around the United States and internationally to train and race.  She has even competed during the winter in Ice Dragon Boat Festivals!  She mostly loves the fact that this sport is the most inclusive and accessible one in the world, and that it warmly welcomes paddlers of all interest levels and abilities.

Dragon Boat is an excellent activity for Leadership and Team Building seminars since people of all abilities are able to quickly learn the technique in less than 30 minutes, have fun and appreciate each team member’s contribution, and even get a bit competitive in a supportive environment!

In a former career,  Jessica used her MBA as an Oracle e-Business Suite software consultant and later, as the Controller of her family’s own software consulting business — giving her extensive knowledge of implementing accounting software packages in Fortune 500+ companies.  Jessica’s 20+ years spent educating others on how to set-up, create operating procedures/systems for, and keep the books of small to medium-sized businesses translates easily into the tracking, accountability, and education skills needed to support her health coaching clients.

Jessica uses her ability to budget and organize both family and business finances to enable her clients to take advantage of opportunities to make wiser investments in their health and wellness … which then has a direct contribution towards a more comfortable financial future.  After all, when a person has better health, they tend to be more productive, take fewer sick days at work, make wiser choices about food and exercise, and get noticed for promotions.

Jessica continues to be an inspirational role model in the community. She was named Rotarian of the Year 2016-2017 in recognition of outstanding dedication and service to The Rotary Club of Peachtree City…most notably for her role as Race Director and Head Paddling Coach of the annual Rotary Club of Peachtree City Dragon Boat Festival.  She has been named Chair and Race Director for the 2021 event.
